This article extends the need to communicate to the multitudes affected by disasters. We should be looking at all the different technologies that are available and putting a highly redundant system in place, so that no matter what happens, we will have layers of communications at our disposal - our society has become too complex and vulnerable to disruption to not throw the kitchen sink at this problem.
