FEATURED TOPICDigital Transition -The term "Digital Transition" describes the process all organizations must go through in the 21st Century, as they leverage new technologies that provide new options for Applications, Equipment, Processes, and Networks that make them more effective. In contrast, the term "Municipal Wireless" is limiting. It puts the network technology ahead of the application and process changes that drive the business case. ORIENTATION |
Frequently Asked QuestionsHmmm. No questions yet. Won't you be the first? Ask me something. Seriously, this area is under development and we'll have content soon. But you can still be the first to ask, and I'll immortalize it by giving you credit. CommentsI have three questions 1. How do one determine the number of nodes needed in a mesh wireless network? 2. If one uses a 1.5M T1 backbone internet source what is a reasonable assessment for the number of subscribers that can be connected without losing the integrity of the system? 3. Assuming one does not have any serious time costing cliches How long does it take to deploy a wireless network with in a 1 square mile area( we are planning on installing a wireless mesh in a 4 square mile area with in the next two months, do you think its possible?)?
